Spelling practice
The children will be completing a spelling tic tac toe weekly. They should choose three items in a row, from the tic tac toe board at the bottom of their homework sheet, and complete any written work in their spelling notebook by Friday morning. Please initial the boxes to indicate the choices your child completed.
Additional spelling practice ideas are included in their homework folders.
Read for 10-15 minutes
You know your child best! Growing a love of reading and being exposed to great stories is the goal or reading in first grade! Have your child read to you, read to your child or do a combination of the two.

Please be sure to check your child's communication/homework folder daily and return to school each morning.

Math:
Monday: No School Memorial Day
Tuesday: practice math fact for at least 5 minutes using some of the ideas in your folder

Wednesday: Complete page in folder
Thursday: practice math fact for at least 5 minutes using some of the ideas in your folder

Spelling: Finish three spelling choices by Friday
Daily Reading: Read for 10-15 minutes together
Other: Family Job Questionnaire due Friday
