2020-2021 School Year

Liquid, Solid or Gas?  Oobleck Fun!

We kicked off our three states of matter by reading Dr. Suess Bartholomew and the Oobleck!

Who Am I?

The kids did an amazing job of presenting their animal vest projects and stumping their friends! The pure joy of counting down for the great reveal each time was magical!  Thank you for helping your child with this project!

Little Red Riding Hood STEM Challenge

What can you make with 10 pieces of linguine, a yard of tape, a yard of string and two pieces of construction paper?  Little Red Riding Hoods basket of course!

Little Red Riding Hood Retelling

The children enjoyed making stick puppets and retelling Little Red Riding Hood with a partner.  Their voices were hilarious!  They did an amazing job!

Duck For President Election Day!

Over the last week we have been reading Duck For President by Doreen Cronin.  Today, after a very serious discussion about the merits of the two candidates, Duck and Farmer Brown, it was time to cast our secret ballots in our own mock presidential election.  The final tally Duck 14, Farmer Brown 2.

Apple Math

We had fun weighing, measuring and graphing our favorite apple varieties this week.  We also learned about Johnny Appleseed and made our own pot hats.

First Week Fun!

We had an amazing first week of school!  We enjoyed decorating our school bags, trying a little magic with our play-dough, completing a painting and writing project and learning how to use our book boxes to build our reading stamina .
